If you absolutely love instant messaging on your Android then eBuddy messenger is the app that you must have on your phone. This app will keep you logged in to a number of services all at the same time. The app supports Yahoo, GTalk, AIM, Facebook, MySpace and ICQ. And because it is able to run in the background, you may decide to configure it so that you receive notifications either by sound or vibration whenever you have a new message from any of your social networks. The only thing you have to do is register an eBuddy account either using the app or by visiting the eBuddy website.
Once you have registered all your other instant messaging accounts, eBuddy will remember them so that you do not have to log in each time. The app is divided into three parts namely the Chats, Buddies and the accounts. With Buddies, you will be able to access a list of your chat friends, their pictures as well as online status. The settings menu allows you to customize your account to suit your needs and preferences.
The tabs for chats will show you a list of your friends are online and their accounts. All you have to do is click on the buddies who is online and start a conversation. The app also provides some basic emotions for you to choose from. The app generally works very well apart from a little latency. You will use data instead of SMS and that will reduce the amount of money you spend on air time. Although eBuddy, unlike other Android apps cannot attach photos or video files, it does pretty much everything else. If you love to stay in touch with your loved ones then this is the app for you.
